Alright, I'm not going to begin my blogging experience with one of those awkward "new in the blogger town" posts. I'm jumping in with both feet. My first post shall be of an object very familiar with my fellow bloggers.
Cameras.
Yes, yes, I did say cameras. A helpful little tool they are, constantly capturing every detail of our lives and preserving them forever. I see a good camera as a companion...a Rose Tyler to your Doctor, a John Watson to your Sherlock Holmes. I've decided that my companion is going to be the gorgeous Canon Rebel T3i.

Sturdy, yet compact, the T3i is a DSLR camera that captures amazing pictures as well as stunning HD videos. I've chosen this particular camera because it's a little more comprehendible as far as price goes, and it's a camera that will be easy on me for being on amateur but will continue to work for professional photography as I gain experience. I've heard it said that the T3i is practically identical to the Canon Rebel T2i (the T3i's older sibling), but of course there have been a few miniscule tune-ups here and there. But one feature that was the selling point for me is that the T3i boasts a pull out screen, which can be flipped around so that you can see yourself if you're doing any vlogging (video blogging) or be adjusted in general if you're photographing from an odd angle. I, personally, quite enjoy vlogging and hope to use this feature often for that specific purpose.
I'm hoping to purchase my own Canon Rebel T3i this fall. I've started a savings fund for it and hopefully I'll possess one of these beauties before too long. I'll also be posting detailed specifics on the camera once it's arrived. And since I know several people who name their cameras, I've decided that mine shall be Benedict. *Does an odd grin*
I hope you enjoyed my first post, as humble and random as it may be.
Until the next time,
Kennedi
