Let's just be blatantly honest with one another, shall we? Perhaps disimprison some of our deepest, darkest secrets to each other? Alright. Allow me to go first.
I have never really been the most organized person.

Alright, maybe disorganization isn't the most treacherous of sins. ;) But still, upon getting older, I've found that I would very much like to change that about myself. I've already made a few adjustments in this area; for example, my bedroom. Merely a year ago (or thereabouts), to look upon my bedroom would be a most alarming trepidation. I was the teenage girl who seemingly forgot about that hole in my wall known as a closet, and the existence of a common location in our home regarded as the laundry room seemed to have slipped my mind. In other words, my clothing hamper was my floor. Or, what I assumed was my floor. Generally it was so cluttered with attire that, to catch a glimpse of my shaggy 70's-era orange carpet, one would have to do a great deal of digging. Quite a fine room for an archaeologist, I suspect.
And while this is hardly an issue I deal with nowadays (I can barely stand a few misplaced books on my shelf or a slipper lying tragically alone on the floor), I'm perfectly aware that I could use some organization in other areas of my life.
A minor area that I hope to be improving on is my blog.
I mentioned in my "Resolutions" post that it was my desire to make at least 2 new posts a week. Has this been the case? Hardly. I'm looking at maybe 2 posts a month. But this is what I'm going to change.
I've decided that giving myself free reign of just randomly posting twice a week will leave plenty of room for procrastination (something that I happen to be frighteningly good at). So, to correct that, I have conducted three kinds of specific posts to write: Monday Madness, Frivolous Friday, and Monthly Favourites. Of course, I can do any other posts outside of those specific subjects, but this way I'll have a sort of structure to keep me from falling short in my writing consistency.

1. Monday Madness
A recap of the weekend.
2. Frivolous Friday
A recap of the week and weekend plans.
3. Monthly Favourites
Posted at the end of each month; a general recap of some of my favourite items/products/misc. things for that month.
I'm hoping to kick these specific posts off on Monday, February 10th. Look forward to our first Monday Madness then!
How do you generally stay organized? In what ways do you generally fall short it, and do you plan on improving them? Let me know! :)
Until next time,
Kennedi
